To change the recovery number you must first access your account, that you can't.
You gain access to the recovery address to receive an account key.
Yahoo no longer uses security questions, if Yahoo asks for them, they no longer work.

In terms of the alternate email address, i know exactly what that email address is, simply cant get into it .
So i can prove that il know my own outdated recovery phone number AND my out dated recovery email, i couldn't just answer more security questions and reset my password?
