My hubby uninstalled WhatsApp at the beginning of September last year but hadn't deleted his account so his profile and last seen was still visible in my contacts. His profile isn't showing anymore and his account hasn't been active so would it have been automatically deleted after a certain period of time?
Or would there be another more sinister reason?

No, there is no sinister reason. Uninstalling the app does not delete the profile.

Thank you. It's just that now the profile HAS disappeared. Hubby says he hasn't been near WhatsApp.
