Not letting me log into Facebook even though I cam see my accoun

Hello, I'm tryin to log into my fb and my picture is there and showing me my pic and notifications but when.o click on.my name it tells me to put my password in... I do when.i shouldn't have to as it clearly shows my account etc but when.i put my password In its doing same thing o need to get into it. So frustrating
