How to turn on my bluetooth switch on Acer Aspire 5002 WMLi

HELLO, IM TRYING TO TURN ON MY BLUETOOTH SWITCH ON MY ACER APIRE 5002 WMLi BUT WHEN I PRESS THE BUTTON I DONT SEE THE ICON IN THE TASK BAR ON THE LOWER LEFT HAND CORNER. DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE TO INSTALL BLUETOOTH ON MY DEVICE?. AND/OR UPGRADE MY WINDOWS XP SOFTWARE TO WINDOWS 10?.

It's possible that your laptop does not have Bluetooth hardware. A quick check on the Web shows this 10 year old laptop as not offering Bluetooth.
