Hello,
My account was hacked into and i underwent a security check chose to be sent a code but there was no space for filling the code

That is not a correct answer, especially if you already have a recovery code. I am unable to find where you can enter the recovery code after Facebook has sent it to you. The recovery code is 8 digits long.
