I have just been given the task of running our business Facebook page which was previously run by an ex employee. I decided to change the password and email address to make it safe and the was told it did not recognise my device and I would have to go through security checks to access the account. The check is to recognise 5 'friends'. The problem is the previous employee made members of the public 'friends' so I have no idea who they are! I have tried to access the friends list through someone's else's account who I know as a 'friend' but there are strict privacy controls and I can't see the list!!

Any ideas would be really appreciated!
Alternatively, do you know how I deactivate an account if I can't login to it?

Best wishes

You cannot deactivate an account without logging in.

Try to access using the same device as the ex-employee.
Yes that did work! Thank you so much
