Salary difference from two years based in employee

Hello,

Hi sir/ madam
I have two sheets and in one sheet consists of 2007 year employees details ( I'd and salary) and second sheet also consists of same employees ids and salary s but some members are added to next year then how to find out the difference between the salary from 2008 to 2007 and comparison

If the first year is on "Sheet1" cell A1, and the second year is on "Sheet2" cell A1 then the formula would be:

=(Sheet2!$A$1 - Sheet1!$A$1)

That would give you the difference between Sheet2 and Sheet1.
