Trouble getting on the internet. Help, please

I have an old PC running Vista. I can't get on the internet with it. When I try I get an error message that goes like this: " Connecting through wan mini port (PPPoE) error 815. How can I correct this error and get connected.

OK, so do you have an ethernet cord connected?

Press the WINDOWS key, and type CMD. In the new window, type:
IPCONFIG /ALL

Post back ALL of the Information please.
