Seagate 2TB ext dr solid bluelight, not seen on PC

Good day, I have above drive and the USB port broke off, I have placed it in a caddy with new cable and on booting up the PC the drive powers up with flashing blue and intermittent red light, once the PC has booted the blue light goes solid, the drive is spinning, but cannot be seen by the 'computer' but shows on device manager, after a short while the blue light goes off. I really need to get the data off, any help would be greatly appreciated!

On Device Manager try to change the drive letter. That will some times allow the computer to "see" the drive.
