Can't access my Gmail account

Hello, my name is Amber I'm having a hard time changing my password to my Gmail account and I have to have it for work my phone was stolen from my house yesterday and I'm wondering if you can help

Before we can help you, tell us, when you created your account, did you register an alternate recovery email address or phone number to which you have access to receive a password reset code?
