Hello,

So I spilt water on my laptop the other day (not much) and waited for it to dry out. Then I turned it on and it worked. However, the speakers weren't working and the earphones I was using at the time when the water was spilled weren’t working. So I tested it with another pair of headphones and it worked, and then I use the original pair of earphones on another devices and they worked perfectly. So is there a way to fix my speakers and earphones.

Thanks

Hello,

When you spilled the water, did any get into the speakers or the audio port?

Regards,

Water and heat are not very forgiving to electronics. It doesn't matter where the water (or heat for that matter) penetrated. Take the Laptop, and place it in a PAPER BAG and seal it tight. Then place the device in a cool, dark place for 48 hours. Try it again after leaving it alone and off!
