My internet is connected but cant reach gmail

Hello,
iam in uganda Gayaza village connected to the enternet but still i can not reach gmail.when i try to open it tells me that the page can not be displayed yet i used it today for some 2 hrs.when i try to check on my enternet connections it is well connected but what could be the problem?

Please help me and fight this stress iam now having

Dear Sir,

This depends on the connection you are using, if the connection is low it won't be easy to open pages like gmail!

I will advise you to contact your internet service provider for this issue
