Converting music to mp4

Hello,
i bought an mp4 player, and i dont know how to convert my music files to the format needed to add music from my saved songs which are in my favourites, to my new mp4. please help... i got a disc with the mp4 player to convert the files to AMV but dont know where to start. i am not computer literate.

Dear Sir,

Just install the software and just open your music files and click on convert!
