Percentage calculation

Hello,

How to know the percentage. Example total bill amount is Rs. 25000 and we are paying Rs.18000. Can u please help me find how to get the percentage?

System Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

You need to divide 18,000 by 25,000, then multiply it by 100:
  • 18,000/25,000 = 0.72
  • 0.72 x 100 = 72%
  • 18,000 is 72% of 25,000.

Budget Amount Rupees in lakhs individual heads and expenditure Rupees

Example : Consumables : Budget 148.00
Expenditure: Consumables: 163.00
Over all heads: Budget 400.00
Over all expenditure 430.00
