Cannot remove logmein program from ctrl panel

Hello,
my logmein program was compromised, i wanted to remove it so that i can install it again..but when i clicked the remove icon at the control panel it says" cannot remove specified program".. how will i delete it?...please help..

Dear Sir,

Please check if the program is still running, else you won't be able to remove it

On your task panel just close the program, right click on icon and select close

Then Uninstall program
