Ipod touch internet password wont work

Hello,
i just got an ipod touch, and i can get free wi-fi internet off of it. i have a router in my house and i know the password to it also. but its not letting me get in. can someone help me please?

hello there,

Make sure to activate your wifi reception on your ipod,

Then select the network at your place then it will ask you to enter the WEP security key

Once you did that it will automatically connect to the internet
