Hotmail won't work

Hello,

I was trying to sign in to my hotmail account it started to load but eventually it came up with the 'internet explorer cannot display this page' screen, i tried it four times and it did the exact same thing i don't know what to do, because if i can't get into my account then i can't get to my e-mail. Can you please help me its driving me insain! Please help i'm expecting a very important e-mail.
