Using a hdmi to dvi cable how do I get audio

Hello,
I bought a hdmi to dvi cable so I can play my playstation 3 on my hp lcd monitor that has dvi and audio input. Everything works get as far as display but I can't get any audio out of it. Any ideas or solutions to my problem.

Hello
HDMI support audio and video but DVI is video only, so it is normal that you gets only video, try to hook the output audio from the ps to the monitor audio input through a second cable
