Laptop screen blank

Hello,
i just wanna asking for help..my laptop screen suddenly blank.. when i turned on the laptop, the screen do not show anything..just black screen..but i can hear windows sound..what should i do to solve this problem?
my laptop brand is dell studio. pls help me..really appreciate it..

This sounds like a hardware issue. You might have a broken screen, broken backlight, broken screen power inverter or a broken or disconnected data/power cable. These are listed by the cost for fixing the problem (from high to low).

I suggest you find a repair shop that is qualified to repair laptops.
