Viruses removed, but screen reads Computer is

Hello, After I cleaned up viruses, my screen still has a red box containing the words
Your computer is infected!...do not use...blah blah blah" I followed Shellipes advice in #4 and still cannot connect. I decided to see if the "screensaver with the red box" was showing in the list of display options and there it is in the list of screensaver choices. However, it will not allow me to delete it or choose another. Ideas?
