i brought a new compaq cq 61 notebook b4 5 month. its compatible with vista home basic. actually i didnt take backup the recovery data( which is D:). i forced to reinstall vista . i have installed in c: by formatting c:.. it was successful.. but after that i cant open the data which is available in d:.. but it shows the contents size 8 GB.. i changed to tools-> folder options-> view-> show hidden files and folders...
