Windows installation error

Hello,
when I install windows Xp, I got a error message.that is..
Line 238 of the INF file\i386\txtsetup.sif

Im not sure what this message means but from what I`ve been able to find

I think it is either a CD Rom problem not being able to read the disc, dirty disc etc. misconfigured jumpers, loose or damaged IDE cable , excessive disk vibration, etc.

Also, setup could be having difficulty detecting your hardware which could also be misconfigured jumpers, cables, etc.

you've got the right answer.
its just a dirty cd/dvd rom drive or unreadable installation disk.
i encountered it once.
