Importing non itunes music to computer

Hello,
i just got a new computer and downloaded itunes on it. I tried putting my songs I got from my old computer from my itouch into my new computers itunes but when I pressed import music in the files button it only imported music that I bought from itunes and not the ones I got for free from another website...
i was wondering if you guys could tell me how to import music, thats not from itunes, from your itouch to your computers itunes
