Portable device

Hello,
I bought a desk top computer for my daughter and a microsoft works 9.0 disk came with it, I was wondering if a laptop was considered a portable device since she uses it when we go away or is there a specific portable device that needs to be used?

Dear Stormngoddess,

Laptops are normally portable but the problem that you may

face will be the fact that the battery may last only for some

hours. Hence I will advise you always to have the charger at

hand and the laptop to be completely charged while taking

away to some places.

can i use the microsoft works 9.o on her desk top and the lap top since the laptop is considered a portable device?
