Hello,
have two laptops in the household.
now have a ip conflict with a D-link wbr2310 router.
one is a Mac running airport, the other a IBM lenovo running Vista.
ip address is listed as 192.168.0.101.
default gateway:192.168.0.1
subnet:255.255.255.0

Mac connects fine..the IBM can only connect in safe mode.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Thank-you in advance.

Have done all that, numerous times.

I neglected to mention(?) that there is absolutely no problem connecting in safe mode.

In normal mode, the network bridge tries to authenticate the connection..gets it for a few seconds, then it disappears.

What is the purpose of the network bridge?

I have both the LAN and wireless bridged, and get a message saying network cable unplugged.

Should i take the LAN connection out of the equation all together?
