Poor voice quality via microphone

Hello,
the listener on the other end can't hear me clearly and can barely make out what i say. hears partial words, sound distorted and faint. very poor voice quality from microphone. HELP!!!!!!!

hi there,

when u used a normal mic that usually used on karaoke, its not too sensitive but good for not professional singer.because its not highly sensitive to detect your pitching mistake..i mean not too much.the quality are refer where u connect the mic..i worked in studio so i have experiences.
