Google.com alone is not opening in IE

Hello, I have a peculiar problem. Mine is Windows XP OS. Browser is IE-6.0. My browser is able to open all websites other than Google sites like www.google.com or www.google.co.in. Please help me out sorting this problem. There are no blocks in my security tab of my internet tool option.
