Microsoft office 2007 installation problem

I have microsoft office 2007 on a CD. When I install it, it says that i have a prerealeased version and it doesn't continue. I don't have any kind of microsoft office on my computer.. I don't have the 2003 version, a trial version or anything like that.. infact I just got the computer there is nothing at all on it. Also, yes I have windows 7.
What could be the problem?

Hi there,

open control panel >add /remove programs ,let the list be loaded and search for Microsoft office,when found uninstall all one by one,reboot system when done and relaunch new office installation.
