laptop power turns right off!Closed

Hello,
My HP Laptop wont work, the power goes on and shuts right off, the battery is charged and it stil just turns right off when I press the power button.  Do I need a new hard drive, or mother board or is it something simple that I am not doing??

Hi There,

I was working on my Dell Inspiron. It's quite new, everything was perfect but suddenly it switched off, I tried to switch on nothing, It's a Dell Inspiron 1525 series. I tell you, everything was perfect on it. the hard drive is about 250 Gig so I have linux in a partition of 90 Gig and Windows owns the rest.

How can I fix this problem? Starting my laptop?
