Having problems with installing Sims 2 deluxe I have a laptop Extensa 5220 acer
version: 6.14.10.4820
Operating System: Windows XP* Professional, Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
DirectX* Version: 9.0
Physical Memory: 502 MB
Minimum Graphics Memory: 8 MB
Maximum Graphics Memory: 128 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 9 MB
Processor: x86 family 6 Model 22 Stepping 1
Processor Speed: 1862 MHZ
I used to have Sims 2 with about 8 expansion packs which were installed and played on this computer.
My sims 2 cd 1 is missing after a few years and I replaced it with a Sims double deluxe cd, for some reason all my games were removed and I reinstalled it with the sims double deluxe. It installs the cd 100 % but keeps on saying there is a problem with the ea file.
We are not very sure, but we think I have installed this cd before on the laptop and played it successfully what do you think could be the problem and to add I have enough memory on laptop
well even if you have enough memory it could be possible if there was a glitch in the download and if you didnt read the information on the download sometimes it has risks of problems on your pc. i dont know this for shure but i had to reboot my pc twice sooooooo good luck and i hope this helps!
