Hello,
My wife recently had a stroke and cannot remember the security key that she and a friend set up for our home network.

What can I do to change this key?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Don

This is the inscription key for the wireless router? - if so you may be able to logon to the wireless router, from a PC directly connected by wire, and view the settings. Check this link for info about networks:

you can reset the router to the factory default by pushing a ball point pen in to a small hole on the back of the router. You can go to the router manufacturer's site to find the default logon ID and password. Then logon to the router (only from a PC connected by wire to the router) and set a new ID and Key.
