Adobe 8 signature errors

I have Adobe 8 Professional. Whenever I apply my signature to a file, it immediately shuts down with an Adobe Acrobat 8.2 error:
Error Signature
AppName: acrobat.exe AppVer: 8.2.0.81 ModName: admplugin.apl
ModVer: 3.16.128.32 Offset: 000a7bf1

How can I keep this from recurring?

With Adobe's help, I found out that removing the SPPlugin folder out of the Acrobat file location alleviates the problem.
