Dell Studio 1535 Mouse buttons don't work

The touch-pad, keyboard and touch sensitive buttons along the top panel all work fine but the mouse buttons with the touch-pad do not work at all, I've tried removing the battery and holding down the power button and I'm using the latest drivers but I still can't get it to work. Can anyone help?
