Network path not find

have network machine Wndows Xp Service pack 2. Machine Ping work Properly. But
\\192.168.5.54 not access the machine.
Please sir give the solution Urgently.

Please indicate which command you are using for carrying out the Ping for us to see whether it is the correct one.
