Hi there

when i plug in the power to my hp 6530b laptop the touchpad stops working you can still click but you can not move the mouse...... then when you unplug the power it works fine!

i can plug in a usb mouse and that works fine i tried the normal things like updating the drivers and such then i thought maybe there was a bios setting that might have been changed, funny thing was that even in my bios menu the same thing happens!!!!

i am pretty good with this sort of stuff ie troubleshooting but this one has got me stumped

i am pretty sure that this is a hardware issue not a software issue but am plum out of ideas

oh just in case anyone wants to know this laptop is running 7 ult 64bit

Please Help

Hi there,

Reinstall its driver on your system ,remove it from control panel or you can also make a system restore to days back when it was fine.

Thanks
