Webcam is not connected....

I have IT-305WC Night Vision Intex webcam connected to my PC. My PC runs on Window Vista. When I click the cam icon on desktop it works but when i try to use it with Yahoo Messanger, it everytime gives a message that webcam is not connected. Out of my 10 attempts, 1 gets succeeded to run webcam with Yahoo Messanger. What to do??
