mp4 video on micromax q5Solved/Closed

Hello, 

i recently bought a micromax q5. I downloaded some mp4 video file formats from youtube onto my laptop and later transferred them to my q5. However, when I play these video files using the q5 video player, I can hear only the audio (in crystal clarity) and cannot see the video, instead some funky green animation is being displayed. 3gp files are playing well with video and audio being displayed. please help!!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

one solution I found out is converting the file using EffectMatrix Total video converter and choose the phone model to blackberry 8xx series . It works fine for me. and also superb video and audio quality as compared to 3gp.

You have to convert the video file to compatible format as it uses .vid,have converter downloaded on link below;

just check if the frame rate is more.
convert it to 15 frames per sec and try again
also check thr resolution with 176*144.
