perfect alternative to Word

I used AbiWord fairly extensively. But my efforts to write a novel with this software cost me my work. Somehow, everything I wrote for the story simply disappeared. I haven't used AbiWord since.

Great for people who need a program like word, but cant get it. Free, easy, quick and just what I needed!
