try to fix your mbr

just boot from your windows xp cd as your first booting device---> Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD. message, if its appears press any key to boot from windows cd--->When the Windows XP Professional/Home Setup screen appears then press R key to repair windows using recovery console
then if your OS is in C drive enter
1 --->press enter

enter your administrator password

When you reach the command like
C:\windows>

type this command

fixmbr ---> press enter

follow the instructions to repair your mbr

then take out the Windows XP CD---> type exit ---> press Enter to restart your PC.
