Need help with Sound on computer monitor

Hello,

OK i have a gateway computer monitor and i have connected my cable box to it useing a HDMI cord i can see the picture but i have no sound is there a way i can use my computer Speakers for sound?

Dear Sir,

Please get to the Sound and Audio properties and then to the Advanced Speaker Settings and habve it changed to the right one.
