Windows key not working

Hello,

i tried to do the desktop short cut on my key board and for some reason the windows button os no longer working! it doesn't even bring up the start bar any more! i need some help if you know anything that would be very helpfull! thanks

Please consider checking whether the problem is not coming from a trojan.
