I have as huge problem, please help me with it.My sound isn't working and when i go to services - device manager- i find that windows audio is started and automatic,so it's not that. But windows media player or winamp won't work and always say 'bad sound driver' or 'no active mixer device'.
I went to sound and audio devices and here are devices I foud:
1.HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8163B
2.AUDIO CODECTS
3.LEGACY AUDIO DRIVERS
4.MEDIA CONTROL DEVICES
5.LEGACY VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICES
6.VIDEO CONDECTS

P.S.I think i delete one device, possible C-media 'cause it didn't work proparly.I try install or download new but i don't know any good site for that. Can you tell some safe good free site where'd get it and how to install it?
HOW DO I FIX MY PROBLEM!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there,

Definitely its a problem mate as you need to install the drivers for it using driver cd fot the computer,if you do not have the cd this also is not an issue as you can also down;load the drivers freely from its manufacturer website,if you are unable to do so fell free to revert back giving the model and series of computer to be able to direct you to appropriate download link.

Thanks
