TOSHIBA Satellite L300 Factory Reset

Hello,

How do I reset my laptop to factory settings?
It's a TOSHIBA Satellite L300, I've tried that hold down 0 and press the power button to hear the beep then leave go of the 0, it hasn't worked at all THERE WAS NO BEEP! It kept giving me the ''Windows ERROR Recovery''
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!
I haven't got the disc either, mine is the 2008 version it didn't come with one.
So I was wondering how could you reset it anyother way?
