Dear sir,

My name is hardik.
1>I have Windows XP SP2 installed in my computer; of lately whenever i connect my Pendrive (Transcend Jetflash 2GB) in USB slot the LED on device glows momentarily only; the taskbar also shows USB device connected but my pendrive is never detected in my computer.

2>Initially in device manager in USB controller it showed a yellow exclamation and code 10 error in device status but now its gone!!!!!!!! Instead now it shows no drivers installed for usb mass storage .

3>If it can get over by reinstalling USB driver for mass storage then please recommend me the link.Also my modem ,USB mouse, keypad, Charging is all fine except for mass storage.

Pleaz Pleaz i need your help desperately.

Hi,

try this 1,

Click on start-->run ----> type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK. If you can see

your USB drive partition, just right click on it and select change drive letter and

paths --->then assign different letter for you usb drive.

If the problem still exists then try this 1,

1) Click on Start-->Run--->type regedt32 ----> click on OK ----> registry editor will

be opened.

Note: Backup your registry by clicking on File--> Export.

2) At the left side, navigate to this location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\

{4D36E980- E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

At the right side, delete the file named UpperFilter.

3)Now Navigate to this location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\

{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

4) At the right side, delete the file named LowerFilter.

Then close the registry editor and restart your PC.
