Hello,
Please hlp. I have purchased a dell inspiron laptop with wireless n card running windows 7 to my dlink router (DIR615) even though I enter the correct security key and it tries to connect doesn't. Also when I go to network devices/infrastructure my router doesn't show even though someone elses does? Any suggestions would be great.

Hi,

First make sure that wireless is ON. Check your SSID, security key and

Firewall.

- Don't forget to install wireless adapter driver and the driver should work well too after installation.

- Maybe you used wrong security key. Configure wireless router again without any wireless encryption (no security key) temporary, test to connect from laptop. Reconfigure wireless encryption on wireless router after successful testing.

- You wireless adapter setting must match the one on wireless router, if not it won't work.

Hope this helps.
