Reset bios on satellite l505d

i had to pawn my laptop and when I got it back there was many files on it that were not mine and the dates of them were duribg the time it was supposeed to be in pawn long story short I went to setup on the start up with the F2 wanting to recover and view what they had done and there was a password on the bios now can someone please explain how to get passed this password
