Hello,

I'm wondering how to take care of my LCD screen.

I have been told that while cleaning the screen, I need to imagine it as small baby skin and clean it." That freeking me out! I don't want to do anything stupid..

Looking on the web, I found several advices:

1- Use a cocktail of 50% water and 50% distilled alcohol
2- Prefer company cleaning solutions rather than supermarket product
3- Be sure that all the areas of the LCD screen are dry before turning it on.

Are these good advices? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

I think you should have a look at these two articles:

https://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Clean-LCD-Screens&id=371001
https://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Care-For-Your-LCD-TV&id=762617

Moreover, my dealer suggested that our general techniques won't remove the dust particle, making screen quality worse.

And one more point, as you are already paying a lot of money to get a good LCD screens, I guess you can also buy a good cleaner to protect it...
