Can't Download Internet Explorer 8

Hello, I am trying to download Internet Explorer 8 but I keep getting a message saying there is a newer version already on my computer. I checked in programs and cannot find Internet Explorer. I am running Vista.

Please consider getting on the browser and get it directly updated from there.
