I have a sony vaio vgn-cr series, and for some reason I cannot get my FN key to work. I have tried to start the vaio even service through the services window, however when I do I get a dialog box from windows vista stating "VAIO Even Service (Service Module) stopped working and was closed"
What should I do? I have been to the sony website, but I am unsure if I should download any of the driver or software updates.

You are on the right way,from official sony website download its driver and reinstall it ,uninstall from control panel then reinstall downloaded version,
