Sims 2 Downloaded Lots Won't Open!

Hello, I have The Sims 2 Bon Voyage and absolutely love it. There is only 1 problem: Whenever I download a lot to my game and try to enter the lot, my Sims 2 quits unexpectedly. I really bothers me because I have downloaded over 5,500 custom content (not only lots) and it takes about 20 minutes for my Sims 2 to open again. I would really like to be able to use all the lots I have downloaded. By the way, make sure to check out my website, Blurb, at blurbs.ning.com!

its probable because you have downloaded to many times and i've had sims 2 before and it gave my computer a virus so check you dont have any viruses if so delete them then try to down load it again thats maybe why it keeps dying unexpectidly
